i've just installed Olstats, it's running and creating log files in my userlogs directory but i'm getting this message when i start my ut2004 server...

OLStats Remote Parser Operation Complete

ERROR: Server Responded: 404 Not Found

this is my OLStats.ini

[OLStats.MutOLGameStats]
bExportRawLog=True
bExportHTMLLogs=False
bLogBots=True
bLogChat=False
bLogPickups=False
bLogVehicleDeaths=False
bLogSecurityInfo=False
bLogPings=False
bLogAccuracy=True
bAdvancedVoteLogging=False
bMasterServerStats=False
bRunUTStatsDBParser=True
ParserURL=http://www.teknohead.com/ut2004/OLStats/logs.php
ParserPass=mypassword
bUploadLogs=True
UploadURL=http://www.teknohead.com/ut2004/OLStats/OLSendLog.php
UploadPass=mypassword
MinPlayers=2
MinHumans=0
KeepBotRecords=True

the file OLSendLog.php is there, checked file permisions and even set it to 777 but nothing is working.

anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening, probably something simple but i can't figure it out.

any help would be appreciated.

ok sorted that problem now when it tries to parse the log file i get

'accessed array 'ReturnData' out of bounds <0-0>
Parser returned unknown data

this does not mean it was unsuccessful. Check your stats page to be sure.
Check to make sure the url is correct in OLStats.ini

the url is correct

anyone have any ideas?

can anyone help with this problem?

why can't olstats open the UserLogs directory? i've had the permissions checked by my game server tech support and they say all is fine.

GameInfo::InitGame : bEnableStatLogging True
MasterServerGameStats initializing

i also get the same sort of message from AntiTCC

The fact that AntiTCC gives you the same sort of error leads me to believe it must be a problem with your server configuration. You say that the permissions are correct, but this sure seems like a permissions problem. The directory needs to be chmod 777 I believe.

OLStats just calls the built in function to create the log, it doesn't have any control other than the filename... so if UT can't make the file, then there's nothing OLStats can do about it unfortunately.

yes i thought it was a permissions issue too but i've chmodded all dirs to 777 and it still doesn't create logs.

funny thing is i had it working when the server was version 3339 but after updating to 3369 all logs stopped.

it can't be a problem with patch 3369 because i have another server with version 3369 creating all logs fine and i've set the permissions to the same ones as the other server.

looks like i'll have to re-install the server and leave it at 3339

So how did you fix it? I get this error but I can't persuade the system to work. My ut2004.ini entry looks almost exactly like yours:

[OLStats.MutOLGameStats]
bExportRawLog=true
bExportHTMLLogs=false
KeepBotRecords=true
MinPlayers=2
MinHumans=0
bMasterServerStats=false
bLogBots=true
bLogChat=true
bLogPickups=true
bLogVehicleDeaths=true
bLogSecurityInfo=false
bLogPings=true
bLogAccuracy=true
bAdvancedVoteLogging=false
bRunUTStatsDBParser=true
ParserURL=http://localhost/utstats/logs.php
ParserPass=ut2004
bUploadLogs=False
UploadURL=http://localhost/OLSendLog.php
UploadPass=adminpass

I know that using localhost in the URL works since that is how I generate the stats by hand, although I have also tried using the FQDN of the server as well.

[ ... Data deleted for brevity ... ]

I found that the problem existed between my chair and my keyboard...

The [OLStats.MutOLGameStats] .IN Ifile information must be stored in the OLSTATS.INI file in your ut2004\system directory, not in the UT2004.INI file, which is where I had them :oops:

Sorry for inflicting my stupidity on everyone. Still, now I can go play!
